Diet For Six Pack Abs – 6 Meal A Day Plan
Losing weight can be a challenge. It just seems like that stubborn belly fat will not move almost like it has a mind of its own! The hardest part of all is figuring out what your diet for six pack abs should be.
Diet is just about everything when it comes to fat loss. Cardio is not absolutely necessary to lose weight, however diet is.
I am going to share with a sample diet for six pack abs below and tell you why it works and how it works for you to lose weight.
Meal #1. Breakfast
- Whole oats
- Soy milk
- Egg whites
Your first meal of the day is also your most important, it is ok to eat a little more in the morning since you will have all day to burn the calories off. Going heavy on the carbs is fine to kick start the day.
Meal #2. Snack
- Protein shake
- Handful of nuts
This is an in between meal so it is a bit smaller, typically on a diet for six pack abs, you will have 3 primary meals and then 3 supplemental meals.
Meal #3. Lunch
- Tuna/Turkey sandwich
- Glass of milk/soymilk
- Veggie
This meal you want to get some protein, and carbs in as it is your midday meal.
Meal #4. Snack
- Protein shake
- Handful of nuts
For your in between meals, I usually say a protein shake and a handful of nuts, because in your main meals it is okay to eat carbs, but during a serious diet for six pack abs, you want to cut back on the carbs drastically.
Meal #5. Dinner
- Chicken/Steak/Fish
- Brown rice/pasta
- Veggie
This is your last big meal of the day make sure to eat to your fill but keep the portions as small as possible. A well balanced meal is important here.
Meal #6. Snack
- Light protein shake/Cottage cheese/Egg whites
The idea with this last meal is to eat only protein. Avoid carbs at all costs as they will go straight to your belly when you go to sleep.
